Since 2019, partners from science and industry have been developing solutions for a climate-neutral, secure, and economical energy supply as part of the “ZO.RRO – Zero Carbon Cross Energy System” energy project consortium, with funding from the federal and state governments. The focus is on small and medium-sized organisations as well as energy-intensive industries such as glass, metals, chemicals, ceramics, mechanical engineering, and electronics.
At the ZO.RRO II closing conference on June 18, 2026, the partners will look back on seven years of energy research with and for Thuringian industry. This retrospective marked the start of the conference at the Erfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK).
